Backorder & Out-of-Stock Policy
At Cabinets.deals, we strive to provide accurate inventory levels and quick fulfillment for all of our customers. However, due to the high demand and complex logistics of cabinetry and closet systems, some items may occasionally become temporarily unavailable. This Backorder & Out-of-Stock Policy outlines how such situations are handled.
In - Stock vs. Backordered Items

In - Stock Items
All in - stock items typically ship within 48 business hours from the time your order is processed. Freight transit time is usually 5–7 business days.

Backordered Items
If one or more items in your order are on backorder, our team will notify you within 1–2 business days of order placement. We will provide:
- An estimated restock date (ETA),
- Options to wait for fulfillment, ship in partial shipments, or
- Substitute or remove backordered items, per your instructions.
Split Shipments
You may choose to:
- Wait for all items to be in stock and ship together, or
- Split your order into multiple shipments. Additional freight charges may apply to split shipments and will be confirmed before processing.
Customer Communication
- If an item is out of stock or backordered, you will be contacted by email or phone using the contact information provided at checkout.
- You are responsible for responding in a timely manner to avoid delays in order processing.
Changes After Backorder Notification
Once a backorder notification is sent, you may:
- Confirm the wait and keep the item in your order.
- Request cancellation and receive a refund for the out-of-stock item(s).
- Request substitutions (if available) with pricing adjustment.
Please note that customized or final-sale items may not be eligible for cancellation or substitution.
Out - of - Stock Items at Time of Order
We work diligently to ensure accurate product availability on our website. However, in rare cases, an item may be listed as available when it is not. If this occurs:
- You will be notified within 1–2 business days.
- You will be offered options as outlined above.
Special Notes:
- Assembly orders that include backordered items will experience additional lead times. Assembly typically adds 7 business days to processing time, after all items are available.
- Backorders do not guarantee the price of the product if future restocks come at a higher cost. We will notify you of any pricing changes before processing.
