Warranty Policy

At Cabinets.deals, we take pride in offering high-quality Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) wood cabinetry. We are confident that you’ll be satisfied with the performance of our products, and we offer a Limited Warranty to back that up. This warranty ensures that your cabinets are free from defects in materials and craftsmanship, ensuring durability for years to come when properly cared for and installed.

What’s Covered under the RTA Wood Product Warranty

Our RTA wood products are covered for manufacturing defects under normal, residential use. The warranty period for RTA wood cabinetry is as follows:

  • Cabinet Boxes, Panels, and Drawer Fronts (Wood and Veneer Products):

    5-Year Limited Warranty

  • Cabinet Doors (Wood, Veneer, and Laminated Finishes):

    5-Year Limited Warranty

  • Drawer Glides, Hinges, and Hardware:

    2-Year Limited Warranty

  • Wood Finish (Paint, Stain, and Laminate Coatings):

1-Year Limited Warranty against peeling, cracking, or discoloration under normal use

Warranty Conditions for RTA Wood Products

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the RTA wood products and is non-transferable. It applies to cabinetry that is:

  • Used in normal residential settings (not for commercial or industrial use)
  • Properly assembled, installed, and maintained

The following conditions must be met for the warranty to remain valid:

1. Assembly: Cabinets must be assembled using the proper tools and techniques as per our provided assembly instructions. Incorrect assembly voids the warranty.

2. Installation: Cabinets should be installed according to local building codes and guidelines. Improper installation, such as failing to secure cabinets to walls or overloading cabinet shelves, will void this warranty.

3. Maintenance: Cabinets should be cleaned regularly using appropriate, mild cleaning products. Harsh chemicals, excessive moisture, or abrasive cleaning products may damage the finish or materials.

What’s Not Covered for RTA Wood Products

The following issues are not covered by this warranty:

  • Improper assembly or alterations of the product, including but not limited to modifications of cabinet dimensions, doors, or drawer fronts.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, or incorrect installation.
  • Exposure to moisture, humidity, or temperature fluctuations, including damage from leaks, spills, or flooding.
  • Scratches, chips, dings, or minor defects resulting from handling or installation.
  • Normal wear and tear, including fading of the finish, minor surface scratches, and fading or discoloration due to UV exposure.
  • Damages caused by the use of cleaning chemicals, abrasives, or harsh solvents.
  • Products that have been modified in any way, including changes to wood components, doors, or finishes.
  • Pieces of trim, including all types of molding, toe kicks, plywood panels, and other accessories.
